Black Diamond Construction repaired a Hurricane damaged concrete pier for the City Of Waveland. This pier was severely damaged from a Hurricane and we replaced all the handrails, concrete deck panels, water, electrical and pavilions. This pier was over 1000 foot long so the majority of the work was completed off barges and support vessels. We completed this project during the winter months so scheduling around low tides and strong winds were critical since we were working with crane barges. The project was completed ahead of schedule and below budget since this was a valued engineering project funded by FEMA.
